An Independent Philanthropic Organization
The African American Fund of New Jersey (AAF/NJ) promotes self help,
stability and well-being within the community.
We receive support through private and public contributions:
- Corporate Sponsorship
- Endowments
- Payroll Deductions
- Annual Charitable Campaigns
- Volunteerism
- Online Donations
For every dollar raised, approximately 75¢ is
reinvested through grants into New Jersey's communities. Only
25¢ is used to pay administrative and fund-raising costs.
Another source of revenue comes from renting
our facilities - the Ambrose/Ward Mansion, AAF/NJ's headquarters
in East Orange and the BUF Health and Human Services Facility in
Plainfield - for receptions, corporate and government functions,
private events, and location sites for feature films and
magazine photo sessions. |
