Addressing What Matters
The African American Fund of New Jersey gives grants based on the
availability of funds as is declared and organized by the State
Board of Directors.
Any 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt agency, community-based
organization, or school operating in the state of New Jersey may
submit a proposal to AAFF/NJ for funding consideration. We also accept
applications from organizations that fall within our Areas
of Funding Focus or have a mission that is closely
aligned with ours.
AAFF/NJ
Board of Directors and staff members will review all proposals
submitted. Applicants should expect an on-site visit from
a AAF/NJ staff member during the review process.
We reserve the right to award an amount other than
that requested. Given the limited funds available, it is
not possible for us to fund every proposal received.
